We all went out to my parents farm for Mother’s Day this year. Had fun with the nieces and nephews, Dad even broke out his motorcycle for the kids. I think they enjoyed it! Hope you had a good one too!.jpg)

This was our first time at the run. Our oldest took part in training for the run which many of the local schools. I think it was just great to have that kind of support for a local event that involves the local schools and get kids active. He hated it, and we’re not the most active family I admit, but we cheered him one and all the other little guys. The kids did a 1/2 mile run and the older ones did a 1 mile run. I’m so proud of him! I don’t care how far behind he was, as long as #1, he tried and #2, he didn’t give up. Those are my values and I hope they get passed down b/c they’ll get you through just about anything!
BTW All of these are taken by my husband. He’s been a sports journalist for the last 14 years or so at the local paper. Go David Campbell!

Beautiful spring afternoon in Downtown Madison Indiana. I work with this young man’s mom, and I wish him the best of luck as he goes off to college in the fall!
Congrats to Noelle and Matt!! Noelle’s dad and my husband have known each other for years, both working the sports circuit in this quaint little town. We’re so lucky to be apart of their big day! We went out this evening to Clifty Falls State Park. The rain had just stopped and the sun managed to peak through the clouds a few times. The fields of yellow are still holding strong and I seriously love them this time of year! I think they are mustard, my friends Leah and Bernie would know for sure!! Here you go, thanks for being such great sports and braving the wet weeds and mud.

I can’t wait to see you all in October!
This lovely momma contacted me about doing their photos this year, and I’m so glad she did!!! It was their first time outside of a studio and the rainy weather I think added a tad of worry… but no worry!
It was grey, and all the wet grass seriously makes all that green ‘pop’. So glad spring is here!!! So happy birthday little guy! We got some really nice portraits (mom had been training him for some time I must say b/c he was a breeze!) Of course every 15 minutes we MUST stop and be silly
I love the sillies! Keeps ‘em happy and genuinely smiling. My favorite might just be the monster/superhero/crazy kid pose!
